Carolina Christmas Finished!

Here it is - finished!  I absolutely love how this turned out.  Mostly from recycled shirts, I even pieced the back and the hanging sleeve from shirts!  The more I worked on this the more I fell in love with it and it's scrappiness!  This is a keeper :)

Huge thanks to Bonnie Hunter for another great mystery pattern.

  1. Beautiful work, Helen! And all those shirts - how did you find so many to match so beautifully!

  2. Helen, your Carolina Christmas is just gorgeous! Don't you just love how bonnie's scrappy quilts look so controlled in their color ways? I love the way she keeps the colors consistent throughout so they still look pleasing to the eye.
Good job on fixing your "waves" it isn't noticable on the finished quilt.

  3. This is the pretties Carolina Christmas quilt I've seen!!! including THE Bonnie's CC!!! I love it b/c of the size...that block in the center makes it look like the star is radiating outward in all directions!

and I love the shirts!!! Great job - you should be so proud! ;)

I really hope THE Bonnie swings by for a visit to your blog so she can see what a pretty quilt you made. ;)

    Love from Texas! ~bonnie
