Hearts Quilting ...

The quilting is done - yeah!!  As you can see I just did an all over loop-d-loop with hearts.  I learnt this from the Patsy Thompson quilting DVDs and it is such an easy and useful pattern.  This quilt is approx 45" x 62" which is only slightly larger than I usually make for donation (40" x 50"), but the extra size really is noticeable when it comes to the quilting stage!  I hope to get the binding done today, but I might have to wait a couple of days to get DH to take a nice photo of the 'finish' ... there's only so much I can do with the camera on my mobile :)

  1. Dang, I've got her DVD on my list of things to get and now you've done it. That quilting is really fun and I think I could do it too! Can't wait to see it all finished.

  4. You did such a great job on the quilting. I went up to Patsy at Spring Market held in Minneapolis and introduced myself and told her what a fan I was!

  5. I've decided I need to study your quilting a bit more - your work is lovely and since we are both fans of PatsyThompsonDesigns.com, I might learn more from you. 8-)))

These little hearts are wonderful and soooo appropriate!
