First top of 2011 ...

We're only two and a half days into the new year and already I've got another quilt top done! This is another Disappearing Nine Patch (DNP) done in a more child-friendly colour scheme than the floral one from before xmas. It used up a metre of a Debbie Mumm print that has been hanging around for ages, but it's not officially part of my stash busting challenge.

Fabrics were cut on the evening of New Years Day, so this shows how quickly it goes together. Which is a good thing because I have been asked to demo the DNP pattern at a Quiltathon my Guild is holding in the spring. I wanted another example to be able to show how different the pattern looks with different fabric choices :)

  1. Cute top. Of course I really like Debbie Mumm and her checks--I've used up all I had I think, but that is a bit of nostalgia. Love the red--I'm hoping to get more into my stash and I like that one!
