I filled in the missing bits of quilting around the hearts and added a little curlycue heart of my own design. 
I then repeated this motif on two of the sashing strips and added feathers flowing away in each direction along the length.
Finally I tried my hand at some curlycue feathers, which look quite cute, but need some work on the shaping!!I've learnt so much about feathers by working on this top, I can't wait to get to another project where I can play some more :)
Your feathers and hearts add a whole new design element to an already pretty quilt! Good job!

Your feathers are so lovely, and the little curley-Q adds a bit of fun to them as well! Do you do any marking the feathers, or just the spine? or is it all free-form? You have certainhly 'raised the bar' for ME! I gotta get busy and expand my efforts a bit, after seeing what YOU can accomplish! 8-)))
