2012 Year End Report ...

As we come to the end of a year I like to take a look back at what I've achieved ...

During 2012 I finished 12 quilts (mostly lap-sized), 41 mug rugs and a table runner.
I used 62 meters of fabric in finished projects and added 62 meters of new fabric to my stash - I could hardly believe it when I added up the totals!!
I only emptied 6 spools of thread this year (a little different to the 15 emptied in 2011!).
I started 2012 with no UFOs, but will be carrying two into 2013 - Bunny IV and a pink charm square quilt I started a couple of days ago.

My goals for 2013 are to finish these UFOs and make some more modern style quilts.  I've started a Craftsy course by Elizabeth Hartman called "Inspired Modern Quilts" and I want to continue to explore the Free-motion quilting style demonstrated by Angela Walters.  I also want to do some more scenic rubberstamping now that I've got some supplies that are working for me.

Lots of new experiences ahead, I hope you'll follow along with me and see the results :)

Happy New Year!

  2. We should keep each other company as we explore Modern Quilts. I want to do the same.
